Why Indy IOT?
Most firmware consultants came up in one world — consumer, industrial, or medical — and that's the lens they apply to every project. We built Indy IOT because the best firmware engineers we knew had done all three, and that experience changes how you think about problems.
When you've written code for a Class III medical device, you approach a consumer wearable differently. When you've hardened firmware against sophisticated adversaries in a defense program, your security instincts carry into an IoT thermostat. That cross-pollination is not something you can fake.
We're based in Indianapolis, Indiana — the original home of precision engineering. We work with clients across the US and internationally on projects ranging from greenfield architecture to urgent field-failure triage.

Indy IOT is a boutique firm by design. Every engagement is led by senior engineers. There are no project managers insulating you from the people actually writing the code. You talk directly to the engineer. You get direct answers.
We work as embedded members of your team or as an independent review body, depending on what you need. We can own a deliverable end-to-end, or we can support your existing team where they need the deepest expertise.
